I found the style of writing and the story itself quite poetic, and empowering. Burton skillfully portrays the depth of Medusa's trauma, taking us on a journey from her initial fear and emptiness to her eventual transformation into a powerful and inspiring woman. The book kept me on edge the whole time wating for the moment of truth (I wont say any more as I don't want to spoil it)It got me out of my reading slump and left me feeling so free and powerful! This speaks volumes about the book's impact.

Upon finishing the book, I was so moved that I immediately texted my best friend, urging her to read it. Medusa story is very touching. The way Jessie Burton portrays Medusa is exactly how I would imagen her to be, she captures her perfectly, and Perseus too!
