It felt like the writer had to meet a minimum page number requirement or something. . The paperback edition is good, the book holds itself open (no need to break the spine) and the paper and printing are of good quality.

About the story, I'm rereading and it's as amazing as I remembered, really a must-see for those who like fantasy and/or loved watching the Afternoon Session movie. So it has no ears, color, and the quality of the paper is inferior. The book is hardcover with a jacket and carries a slightly yellowed paper, which is common in other imported books.

Great edition of this marvelous piece of literature (I would not say "literature for children" for we adults appreciate it better than the current generation) and a must for any library. Sorry, don't hate me pls! I read “A História Sem Fim” in my adolescence in a brown-cover brochure edition released by Martins Fontes in the early 2000s and for years I was looking for a new edition to have in the collection and be able to reread. Took some hustle for this gem to reach my address but a great book needs some sweatin'.
