I am not sure if it is permanent or going to go away in time. See pictures where there is a clear demarcation of where the solution is sprayed and the patio discoloured against areas where it is not sprayed. but it's the pump facility on it.

Must say it does the job well. I only sprayed these weeds yesterday and they look a lot less happy today! which is easier
