Excellent book for a little one who just discovered his/her little fingers and toes. I am not keen on drawing of these myself as they look like they were drawn from photograph without considering anatomy, but overall if baby learns it is more important than being anatomically correct body part at this stage. That's why it would be a good read even if only for grown-ups!

Tested on 5 months old. Nice and smooth. Text has nice repetitive rythme with added variety and nice finale with your own baby who has ten little fingers and ten little toes of course. Text is good although using the following phrase 'wrapped in an eiderdown' is quite unfortunate and 'eiderdown' word in the book for babies seems to be too specific.

Board book, rhymes, help babies/toddler learn about their fingers and toes and counting, also love that all different ethnic backgrounds are represented. The best page is where a baby can place their fingers and toes on pages and compare them. The media could not be loaded. Bought this because the last one was destroyed.

All babies in the book are painted lively with sense of individual character, they look full of life and have sense of movement. Photo of the page attached. It is also a suitable text as a first approach to the topic 'equality and diversity', which is very important and innate in children.

There is a great need for it at this time. It is enchanting both for the text (in rhyme, a child of a few months old can already like it) and for the illustrations. Both in the Italian version (just as cute) and in this original, it is one of the little books that should not be missing in a baby bookstore.
