Because of this (I assume) the screen flickered and the response was rather slow. For me this is fantastic as I didnt want to buy the bigger version as I only really wanted to use about 4 key bindings and not have to pay out £160 for the use of 4 keys. I am not a streamer but the offer of unlimited, fully customisable macros, hotkeys and a whole host of other functions it was perfect for me. Although I used this with a USB hub on my MacBook as it only has USB-C ports which this cannot plug into.

Having always assumed these were for streamers only it never even crossed my mind to use one for business automation. The functionality options on this are endless, you can have folders and hot keys for separate programs/games etc. For this, it works really effectively.

On the back of the device, there is just a plain Elgato logo. The stream deck mini is good for doing streaming things as you might expect. The keycaps displays can be seen clearly from about 60 degrees angle at either side of the device, meaning it doesn't have to be central to your seating position.

Now this may be caused by a combination of me using a USB hub, as well as my MacBook being rather slow, but your mileage may vary. Recommend 100% I bought it to integrate with my own product - integration was easy and for end users they just plug it in. I thought it was hilarious as you can also upload your own pictures to the device (if you can see in the awful photo I've put up, I'm using my face!

But it's a great unit to just have on your desk and use as shortcuts to open websites. Way more complex than you'll ever need. Its small form factor means that it will sit neatly on any desk.
