I bought the wired one because I kept losing the USB dongle for my wireless Evoluent . After agonising over the other potential mouse for months, once I got this injury I realised I had to have a ambidextrous mouse. It retains charge for almost 3-4 days and overall very happy to have got this.

Before I purchased my desired mouse, I developed a shoulder injury on my right side from repetitive and badly postured computer work. My first was the wrong size but the cable cover has split and it no longer works (replaced after a year with a large, but cable broke after 2 years), my second one the left mouse button starting working intermittently which actually just caused me more wrist pain.

An important feature is that the large arm muscles move the mouse as opposed to the smaller muscles that move a standard mouse. It seems that the scroll is the 'bottleneck' in this mouse design. But when I do it right, it feels very comfortable.

Buttons work well. I love it! I have used an Evoluent vertical mouse for >5 years. now I also don't have to worry about batteries, since it's powered through the USB.

My 2 Cents

Only complaint is that you can set the scroll speed, but not the speed of the wheel - it's a little slow for the way I use it (I definitely preferred the wheel on the Evoluent mouse). Final advise to people who are thinking to buy it.

Really comfortable. It's definitely taking some getting used to, to keep my entire hand wrapped around in a relaxed fashion - my lower fingers tend to want to wander off.

Works very well even from far distance. I had toyed with the idea of buying a nice high end mouse for some time. buy an insurance and I feel like if the scroll goes bad, you may really need it.
