This book is about a boy who is very pro Hitler. When he returns home he finds his parents his a Jewish girl names Elsa behind a false wall in their home. What an absolutely thrilling read!
I was so emotionally touched by this book it really is a must! His parents disappear which means he is the only one who is aware of Elsa and he stands by her through it all! The back of the book got me right from the start! He is absolutely horrified at this, yet during an air raid this turns to intrigue, love and obsession!
