I'm sure if the instructions were included, the instructions would say something about how to release the magazine/cassette. Overall, I really like this gun. Overall the gun is a great value and it does jam time to time but it's still one heck of a deal.

a side-pull bolt and metal bolt sled go a long way. Fire rate is as fast as you can prime it so get some practice! The foregrip is a bit loose but the barrel and stock are stable. That is the mechanism keeping the magazine in the gun.

Let me explain:I had a heck of a time removing the magazine/cassette from the gun. I would recommend this product. Also it's easy to modify! I'm not sure instructions explaining how to release the magazine/cassette were in the box.
