The way it’s portrayed by a lot is more focused on romance when there is domestic abuse involved which shouldn’t just be swept under the rug when promoting the book to others. My relationship with the dad of my children has not been the best (not physically abusive though) But since we have split, our children are so much happier just for fact that they are having a happy mummy now.

READ THIS BOOK. Their bond grew stronger as they found some common ground. TW: Domestic violence, child neglect and emotional manipulation. I’m glad I did read it sooner.
