This is actually the first of Jeffrey Archer’s book that I read. I think it can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I love that he took real characters from the World and wrote about them. I also enjoyed the little drawings depicting a certain content of the book.

I rate it 4. I only wished I had followed the story from book 1 which would have add stock to the characters in this book. The fact that the story line is set in that period of time yet is still modern makes it enjoyable. Amazing read!
I read it in 2 days and it was superb. Will continue the next part.
