This ruler is 50cm in size, so it is ideal for drawing or cutting long lines on a large sheet of paper. The ruler is one meter long, which makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including tailoring, dressmaking, designing, pattern making, and drafting. There’s something more special about a metal ruler rather than a cheap wooden one. They come in packs of two and weigh 33kg. Oh, I know these are just two simple and humble rulers but they were perfect for Duncurin’s needs.

57mm THIS STAINLESS STEEL, METRIC & IMPERIAL RULER FROM ‘MSC’ IS NOT THE STRONGEST THAT I HAVE. It’s very thin so can be bent with a bit of force and the lines are straight cut so the corners are nice and square, plus you get a handy hole for hanging it on the wall. I knew that cutting them would be a nightmare, not just because of the weight but also their 60x60cms size.

The markings didn't rub off and were easy to read even when the wet blade was, as it always does, covering everything including us! This ruler from MSC is made from stainless steel with clear black print markings.

The text and numbers are very sharp and easy to read, and I like the layout of the markings as they are quick to work out what the measurements are. This should last a lifetime, because even if the paint wears out, being etched in, you will still be able to see the markings. The paving chap wanted a ferocious amount of money to pave it with the outside paving tiles she’d bought and could not even contemplate starting before October. It features both metric and imperial measurements along with some basic conversions and both sides have the same measurements, but the top rows are flipped so you can measure things from above or below.

9inches ) ON BOTH SIDES ARE ENGRAVED AT EVERY 0. This will cut to over 25mm depth so I thought it might get through the tiles but I knew that the platform/table that makes up the Ferm would be way too small. It’s unlikely that this would affect anyone unless we’re talking extreme temperatures.
