Covers up a multitude of poor preparation. It dried within the specified time and really didn't need a second coat. I used this to paint a rusty, Victorian wrought iron gate and used approximately half of the 250ml tin to do so. Nice and easy.

I did clean the rust off my brake drum first for a smoother finish. Thick to paint on and no runs, so easy to use. It is a little sticky to apply but once you get the measure of it, it goes on well and looks great, dried quickly and covered the rust AND the awful red easily in one coat.

I purchased this to paint part of a galvinised bike frame. and in a well ventilated area as it does smell quite a bit as it dries. It took 1 can for each gate and post (thank goodness for prime next day).

It occurred to me that rather than paying £100 for replacements that I could paint them. It also filled any low spots quite well. Brilliant stuff does exactly what it says on the tin The surface was smooth and neat but still lots of exposed rust.

I painted over the smooth rusty areas and the paint worked perfectly and one layer was enough. [Please excuse my nosy dogs!

My van calipers were looking very tired and ugly. I bought gold look handles from Amazon but after a few weeks they were tarnished and blotchy. Once delivered I opened the box to find a leaking tin and red paint all over the place - it looks like it’s been damaged in transit and disturbed the lid causing the paint to leak Hope this helps.
