The times have passed and now I'm very satisfied with the fact that a strobe is commonplace at 1000lm and it's amazing. slugs and 100 of 2 3/4 Field and Target Multipurpose load - all of which were fired with the TLR 1 mounted and turned on. The light installs very easily and snaps on with spring tension while you hand tighten the adjuster.

maybe blinding effect? On the spec sheet the company states 1. But, the light never flickered when I swapped the light onto my 9mm and 45mm pistols and when I was firing multipurpose field and target 12 gauge loads. Multiple mounting options for different types of rails.

For my setup, I have it mounted on the left side of the shotgun's forend. Works like it should very bright.
