The quality is really good and the kids loved it right away, all the little features this set has like the door that opens and reveals the inside of the castle, the water that turns for Polly's surf, the clams that open and contain a very cute pearl inside, the ability to move the dolphin to surf the wave , the treasure, the boat and all the beautiful little pieces that make this set a magnificent gift to give. And the purple cat can move so that it can swipe at the snake (toy? But instead they are permanently attached to the inside of the case. Polly Pockets with rubber legs have Polly Stick.

All it’s 12 accessories pieces were present/accounted for and with great miniature detail. The media could not be loaded. The squishy baby dolphin in the front is adorable.

Then you add in the table and swivel chairs and it just makes for too many tiny, cramped spaces that the cat and bunny can fall into and get stuck. Box was dented in some parts too.

I do have some complaints though. The accessories are hard plastic with the exception of one of the doll’s clothing (skirt) it’s more like rubber. The hamster enclosure is just too big. Never had a Polly Pocket compact as a child, saw some on clearance at Walmart and decided what the heck.
