Installing was fairly basic, though it did take a few goes to get it right. So far it has stayed in place and I’m very happy with it.

Time will tell how it lasts as it’s only been up a day. This might be the problem, I set it to nearly 3 inches over the size of the resess and with a decent amount of force was able to pushed it back enough to pop it in place. I certainly have no worries about the curtain falling down anytime soon.

Since buying this in January 2022 this is now almost a year old and has no rust marks or paint issues. Once in place it seems very strong.

I will be ordering more of these! When something you don't expect to work so well works soooo well, it deserves a good review, especially if some bad reviews I suspect are down to not fitting properly. It was extremely easy to install and hasn’t moved since installing it. To get them to stay up I taped some non-slip mat (The kind you might use to stop a rug from slipping) to the ends and they are now holding perfectly a week or two on.
