my take on it. I pour myself a large measure and top it up with ice cold Pepsi for the perfect rum and coke.

I bought this to try as I've been alcohol free for 8mths. so the crux is, its not quite Spiced Rum, but its a very close match to Dark Rum especially with coke. This is bang on the money and tastes fabulous.

the taste as far as im concerned, is identical to OVD or Dark Rum and coke. For me personally, the drink tastes similar to a slightly watered down version of the alcoholic drink. I brought this for a present for my mum she said great value for the money and tastes amazing loves it! if you like the alcoholic Morgans Spiced Rum, then theres a good chance you might be slightly dissapointed.

my son in law, was very 'meh, its ok' when tried it first, but then i mentioned that i thought it tasted like OVD and coke and he had another and thought it tasted uncannily similar. This is definitely going to be a hit over the Christmas period and beyond 👍 Ok, so thought id take a punt and trying some of the alcohol free stuff to give the old liver a rest for a few weeks or so. I think it’s really hard to replicate a spirit in an alcohol free version and you’re always going to be able to tell the difference by the absence of the alcohol burn.

Yes, of course you can tell a difference, but it's not massive and it makes a nice alternative if you're looking for an alcohol free version. If for whatever reason you can't drink alcohol (driving, health, etc. . You also need to keep this 0% one in the fridge once opened and it only lasts for 2 months.

😁 that was pretty negative, but, its not terrible, the flavor is there, its just more elevated from the spice-ness.

on a very positive tho, well for me anyway. I added vanilla coke zero to it and it was much better, although I wasn’t impressed with my first sip. not to shabby for a tenner. I do enjoy this but prefer the Red Leg Spiced Rum.
