Each time a player moves, they will reveal new features of the board, called props, which they can interact with to further their objectives or to hinder their opponents. Experienced players can customize their characters with various perk configurations, offering even more replayability. Death Is Not An EscapeIn Dead by Daylight: The Board Game, one player will take on the role of a brutal Killer while up to to four Survivors band together to try and survive. As a Killer, hunt down the survivors, wound them, and place them on sacrificial hooks to summon a sinister force. The Survivors must repair generators to power up the exit gates and escape, while thwarting the Killer's plans and working together to stay alive. Both Survivors and Killers have perks that grant them special abilities.
