Overall it's good . Total pages ate 353 . The idea that a scientific idea is dead, generally for good reason (that for example it has been disproven, and thus rejected by the scientific community at large), but how in Maths, an idea can survive, and even be rediscovered, many years after it was first discovered!

Gleick demystifies the complex concepts of nonlinear dynamics and fractals, offering readers a lucid and accessible introduction to a realm where unpredictability and order coexist. This is a very interesting book. Drawing upon the lives and work of pioneering scientists like Edward Lorenz, Benoit Mandelbrot, and Mitchell Feigenbaum, Gleick crafts a compelling story that unveils the beauty and significance of chaos as an essential force shaping our understanding of nature, weather patterns, turbulence, and even the dynamics of human societies.

The John Robinson Review

Whilst I confess to not getting very far with it, actually from the pages I read, I found some very interesting ideas about science and maths. Nice printing , paper quality is not so good . I've received a fresh copy but the packaging is not so good, still my book is in good condition.

"Chaos" stands as a timeless masterpiece, illuminating the interconnectedness of chaos and order in our world and forever altering our perception of reality. If you're buying this book, then make sure you're buying it from "Cloudtail India" (Amazon seller), believe me this seller is trustworthy. The media could not be loaded. I think I don't need to mention how amazing the book is, but the print quality is not that good, and the paper is a little thin.

Very interesting. In James Gleick's groundbreaking 1997 book "Chaos: Making a New Science," he masterfully navigates the uncharted territory of chaos theory, weaving a captivating narrative that explores the profound implications of chaos in various scientific disciplines and everyday life.
