I would rather buy a new bike carrier than do without this bag. Super additional storage space easy to install and top quality.
However, I would give the following indication for other potential buyers. Because of this recession, we bought the Easy Bag and we are just as enthusiastic. Our trunk is covered with dogs, just as it is described in a recession. The full circumference of the bag is best used with a bicycle carrier of at least 3 bikes and a straight surface; that is, my bike is bent and therefore it is a bit difficult to place the bag well.
