Would highly recommend these budgeted Dehydrators. Parchment works too but restricts airflow a little. For the price it’s a really very good dehydrator. It's not as loud as I thought it would be and I usually let it run over night.

I love my dehydrator it is amazing. It’s easy to use with digital temperature and digital timer clock. I even made dried citrus fruit which my mum loves in her gin and tonics.

I bought silicone inserts to stop smaller food falling through the tray grid. I even made homemade garlic and onion powder.

Overall I think it's worth paying a bit extra for a better quality dehydrator like this one. Comes with booklet and guide instructions for the duration needed for the variety of fruits and vegetables. I mostly make dryed beef and chicken for my dogs but I've also done fruit which is lovely in cereal.
