Otherwise you’ll end up like me finding it’s quiet and thinking the pre-amp can’t boost the signal enough. This mic is so good I purchased 2 of them as you can see in the image.

It has both pros and cons let me explain below:Pros:-the mis is very durable. At these prices the Podmic is a must have so get it guys. My voice is a bit bassy and this microphone picks that just perfectly ! Bought for both my work meetings (Zoom/Teams etc) and for gaming (Discord/OBS etc).

First of all i didn't buy this Microphone off Amazon but thought I'd share my review of it here. If u have some basic sound card (USB with XLR input) Im almost sure the signal level will not be enough to use it well. Description says it has internal pop filter which is true but if u using it close to ur mouth (or you love to play with your voice using proximity effect) you will NEED TO use some extra filter as a good acoustic foam shield or something.

Sound. The Rode PodMic is amazing, clear, crisp audio and excellent value compared to other high end expensive dynamic microphones. Im using multiband compressor with it to get "that radio broadcast" sound.

I’ve used before microphone which is a bit cheaper around £70 and I thought that my voice is finally sounding good for my streams but…. Build wise is amazing, it's sooooo heavy that I'm suprised my cheap boom arm can handle it.

1. Im using a TONOR T20 which is good but only if you "hanging" the mic with it so as you see on the photo, so the other direction is not really working with it coz cannot hold the weight.
