I used these on a blackout shade for a back door that'smetal. Added them to my tool cart and they do a great job holding my wratchets and impact guns, the magnets are incredibly strong

They work very well! Super Powerful, I am able to go 80 plus mph without worry of the light blowing off. I used one of these magnets to hold my security door open when I want to make several quick trips in the house such as bringing in groceries. Super heavy duty magnet I have few walks in coler the doors not closed as it should repair service man gives up, I bought 8 of these round magnetic drills a hole for each door this works like magic highly recommend for DIY

I used these to mount a rotating spotlight which I found on Amazon. I wish I had thought of using a magnet a long time ago. Very strong! The media could not be loaded.

I offset the magnet to reduce its strength, also I used a small amount of DAP caulking to keep the rain from getting behind the magnet and damaging the wooden railing.
