So, time will tell but thus far, no complaints. Step 3 is odour control that they sell.

I used this on card which had food colouring red mark on the middle, and one card was not treated the other was treated twice as directed above. It works for 15 times in the rain. Stage 1 does the cleaning and stage 2 provides the protection from rain and mud.

After letting them dry, I used a suede brush on the nubuck and they came up looking great. I learned step 1 is a cleaning product they sell and step 2 is to provide waterproof and dirt protection. The product works well, just spray in well ventilated area and away from flames.
I followed the instructions and all was straightforward. I then added water to both untreated and treated cards. The media could not be loaded. I noticed this said step 2 on the can and looked this up to ensure it could work alone.
I have used Kiwi Sneaker care steps 1&2 to clean and protect some new nubuck books and a couple of pairs of Puma sneakers (suede). I was pleasantly surprised.
I took pictures for you, and you can see untreated let the water through and the treated did not. It needs two coats with an hour to dry between and after.
