You will quickly see how this will only cost a tiny fraction of the amount to run. As for this item - both of mine arrived well packaged (see photo). For example, using it for 1 hour before bed would only use 0. The heating elements are not too thick, meaning it is comfortable to sleep on.

Using an electric blanket achieves a warming effect via conduction, which is a much more efficient way to transfer warmth. 085kWh of electricity (multiply this by the amount you pay per kWh and you will see it costs hardly anything to run).
