Honestly, I cannot think of a reason why you wouldn’t find this a truly enjoyable book. As Churchill said: “Those who forget the past are condemned to relive it. ”Buy ‘n’ Enjoy This makes the actual handling of the book quite poor and not an easy reading experience.

A lot of the issues relevant in 1962 are still so in 2022. ? As soon as I saw it advertised I ordered it & when it was published & delivered last week & got straight into it.
It is a very engaging, informative (I could say even entertaining) book, covering the lead-up to, the event itself & the aftermath of the 1962 Cuban missile crisis. Both the previous books I mentioned above do-not contain any superfluous content & this one is the same. Oftentimes, historical books contain ‘padding’ - Max doesn’t appear to ever use / need to do this.
