All the required nitrogen and phosphates are here, as well as all the other necessary minerals. Not good quality at all. It just seems to be the least lumpy, best consistency and best at retaining water of all the ones I've tried and whatever I plant in it always seems to do well, from the little seedlings to the well established plants.

A heavy bag which was left in my enclosed porch, not handed to resident as stated! An excellent compost, as you would expect from Miracle-Gro.

Not the biggest, but a very useful size. Very impressive. I re-potted all my house plants (21 of them) using this compost and since then I’ve had an infestation of fungus gnats.

4 x 10 (25cm) inch pots. This has been the 3rd order , perfect for value to money , plants love it and so does vegables and gardens looking lush now grown You receive a 40 litre bag. The smart release three month feed is a good addition and my plants do well on it so I will continue to purchase this compost for my pots in the future.

(Photo)The compost does contain a wetting agent, but try to make sure it doesn't dry out, as re-wetting is always a nightmare. As my car is currently off the road, Amazon delivery means I don't have to lug a sack home on the bus 🚌 Glad to find Miracle Gro at a reasonable price, but disappointed to see 2 holes in the bag, where the driver would have lifted it.

That's enough compost for, 8 x 9(23cm) inch pots. I've only used it to pot up seedlings, but I'm sure it would be fine to germinate seeds. Where it stands out compared with other composts, is the inclusion of the feed pellets, which contain everything thing you need for strong healthy, leave, root and flower growth.
