Beside those minor annoyances, once I figured out how to use it, it worked great. Overall a good pocket size colour reader for professional who can actually understand the language. It isn't for everyone - if I didn't have this item as a free sample I would never have used or tried it but I do have to say that if I had to purchase this with my own money I think it would be a worth investment. I know it isn't designed specifically for this but really, if it works why not?

Download the app, connect via bluetooth to your phone and you can start scanning your favourite colours. As far as I'm concerned, I can only say that the paints of the walls of my home, all in variants of RAL, have been identified extremely precisely.
