Our skins are for Version 2(New). Actual Lens Not Included The body of the lens, made entirely out of metal, sports full weather sealing to keep out moisture, dust, and other contaminants. The autofocus system has been reworked with an STM motor that acquires subjects quickly and quietly and can be controlled in a number of ways thanks to its customizable AF Lock button and focus ring. Images on the swatch selection are merely mock-ups. You can still apply the skins on Version 1(Old), you will just need to trim the lens hood.

At 1. In the picture of the stones, the autofocus struggled to focus the stones in front and when I thought it did focus not sure when it changed it to the stones down on the left. 8 gives you plenty speed.

It's a great photography lens, but I can't recommend it for video because of my own experience which is a shame because it shows real potential. I'm therefore resigned to just using it for stills which is definitely where it excels. Photos from my trip to Edinburgh which is where I used it first.

In my opinion, this is not a perfect lens but you've really got to weigh why you need it. The depth is beautiful and it's value is outstanding.

4 it's low light performance was incredible. I really wanted to love this lens, but I've recently transitioned into hybrid shooting and it's forced me to go back to my older crop sensor native lenses until I can find a solution to the issues I've been having.
