I love the fact that it helps teach the concept of force by making the child apply just the right amount of force to get the trucks to make their loop or jump right which means it also teaches patience lol! Dome Playset cars looks very similar to "Die Cast" cars, but they are plastic.

Those are a bit heavier (die cast metal body vs plastic body) and need more power to blast along. Well done Fisher Price! I have twin boys and this is one present that they can both play with at the same time! It has provided hours of entertainment and we couldn't be happier!

So the only complain I have is incorrect information about Die Cast cars on the Dome Playset box. Very basic jump and loop track.

It's great that it can be configured in various ways. The Dome PlaySet box says that it contains "Die Cast" items, but actually it's not true.

The plastic is malleable which means that it can be tripped over, stamped on and it doesn't break. It's manual (hand) powered.

I saw somewhere somebody had said the smash part kept getting stuck- I thought we had that issue but it turned out that we had to pull the bottom of the track release back. My son is 4 and he can do it sometimes, but it's not simple. Got this for my son’s 4th birthday and he loves it. Very good product.

I would totally buy again! See differences between Dome PlaySet cars (Blaze and Crusher recently unpacked) on the left and separately purchased Die Cast cars (Muddy Blaze and Crusher after a few weeks hard usage) on the right.
