Meanwhile, his 21-year-old grandson, Teddy, has also been trying to find a way to tell his family the same thing. There is also a good bundle of characters in this, family, friends and colleagues of both Arthur and Teddy, and despite negativity from people, some characters are just brilliant and supportive and that just made me feel glad.

While I loved the dual POVs of the two main characters, I feel like Arthur's story was much better developed. I feel super glad to have read this. Written from the POV of Arthur and also Teddy, I really enjoyed reading this and loved both the main characters especially Arthur. Arthur has taken the incredibly brave decision to come out aged 79yrs - not being able to spend even one more day denying his true self.

It is such a beautiful read/ listen. The book is wonderfully brought to life with the dual narrators and is a binge-worthy listen. I found myself skimming those pages as they didn't really move the story along.
What a wonderful story this is! He was just so lovely and I wanted to wrap him up in cotton wool and protect him. The story follows Arthur and Teddy over a year, as they endeavour to find their place in the world and possibly love. But both Arthur and Teddy won’t let anyone bring them down.
As both Arthur and Teddy try to carve out their true identities and true paths through life and love, we cannot help but fall for them both. I definitely recommend reading all about Arthur and Teddy - you won’t regret it! It’s never too late to be you.
