Since the manufacturer has little dimension data on its website, I’ve attached a few side by side photos. I’d bought the smaller 14cm version of this for my son. Let’s be honest, if someone really wants to steal your bike they’ll steal it no matter what lock you fit. It really shouldn’t have the same 420 model number.

So, I ordered the 23cm one for me, thinking not unreasonably that it would be simply a longer version of the same and provide a bit more flexibility. I ordered the 14cm version which fits nicely and unobtrusively on my bike. I returned the 23cm lock as it’s just too big, heavy and obstructive for the few times I’ll use it. Sadly it’s not, it’s also significantly wider and heavier.

However your average hoodied crackhead will hopefully be deterred by this and pick an easier target. I like the mount design that effectively locks the lock to the bike when not in use, and the various tests I read said that the Abus rattles less than others when riding.
