A 'collar' is included in the accessories. I also like the fact that it doesn't tangle with my other leash because I walk 2 dogs. At first, this leash was awesome (it allowed for a lot of free movement for my small dog), but after a week and a half of use, the leash (tape) ripped halfway through near where it latches onto my dog's harness.

the first one lasted 9 years ( still usable but beat up ) the Kong retractable Leash is basic and sturdy and holds up well . Absolutely love it. I was a little afraid that it would be too heavy or too cumbersome.

Kong products for the win! It gives lots of freedom and very confortable on hand. I really enjoyed this leash at first -- as did my dog -- but now I'll have to find a leash that won't snap after only a few weeks of use. Good leash am very satisfied
