Great product - really impressed with the colours, the only downside is that some of the colour on the green string has flaked off after a couple of plays. These string are perfect for Rocksmith on PlayStation or Xbox as the colours match the string on the screen and make it easier and faster to learn guitar.

Doesn't effect it and only the player would notice. Years back when coloured strings became available, many shrugged them off as gimmicky. Yes, the coating will start to come off around your pickups from being under constant attack from plectrums but it's worth it.

In my opinion they sound better than the Ernie Ball paradigms which I have been using lately. Ideal for begginers, these strings are strong and can take quite a lot of punishment. I put the acoustic kind of this string on an acoustic guitar a while ago. I purchased these as they match the colours in Rocksmith 20014, they sound as good as any other strings and play exactly the same.

I liked it so much that the next electric string swap, I put a set on my electric. They turn heads at gigs and make me that little bit more excited to pick up my guitar and play. I finally decided to try some of these and wow, they are lovely and bright, both aesthetically and sonically.
