This was perfect. Once completed it looked great in the window with the sun shining through. The box it is packaged in is not very intriguing, but the sungemmer itself was enjoyable as a parent-child activity. I used one of the thin elastic bands that came with it to keep the backing from moving whilst she put the gems on, otherwise with small hands it tends to slip

Probably not for most kids over 8 I’d say My 5 year old loved it!

These are realy fun and easy! The clipboards also made the project portable. So, sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between the blue or purple gems. Loved this.

Hang it in the window and see the sun shine through! Kept her busy for a while, and we still have two more to make. And it look beautiful hanging on the window. Did these with my daughter (8), my only complaint is that the colors on the guides are not very easily distinguished.

I needed a gift that a 7 year old could do independently with minimal supervision and mess. She liked them so much I had to buy more. My 5 year old really enjoyed crafting this. What a wonderful project.
