After reading about using cellophane to make fairy wings, I was determined to make a pair for the Renn Faire. Meant to make it more fun since the pandemic altered having a normal Halloween. The color is exactly like what is pictured & changes depending on the lighting , will definitely be buying again .

Just go very slow with that part so you don’t end up burning through it. I would buy this again.

I cut about 1/2” from the edges of the wings and used a heat gun (and a lighter for the tighter spots) to shrink the edges down. $45 for those stubby nylon fairy wings didn’t sit right with me. Very pretty material

It was super easy to make the wings with this, I used 12 gauge floral wire, clear adhesive spray, an iron and they turned out perfect! A little girl down the street asked me if I was tinker bell when she saw me in a green sundress with my hair in a bun this summer, so I decided to run with it.

I bought this to make fairy wings for my daughters who wanted to do a fairy photo shoot. Wonderful! Our neighborhood did Halloween driveway displays this year behind the tables put out to hand out candy. I bought this cellophane to make fairy wings.

Note: The wholes are from me burning the excess to meet the wire. Held up to several hours of wear and several blocks walking with a breeze. It gives such a beautiful look and texture to the wings.

This was my first try at adding it to resin and even through the bubbles it looks gorgeous! Tried to make my own and this iridescent film was PERFECT. Love this for fairy wings
