It's bigger than I thought it would be but that is ok too as it is also more stable than I expected. But apart from that for me personally it is a pretty good bit of kit and is helping me to build up my back muscles.

Right out of the box - was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The cloth is to stop the grease going onto the floor so it doesn't become slippy , there is no point is doing this if you break you leg slipping over afterwards :). I did have a problem with it when it first arrived during its 1st use, it squeaked like a doozie oh my goodness, it was so loud my neighbour could probably hear, but after I loosened all the moving bolts and sprayed them with some WD40 it soon done the trick, no more squeaking, it's now lovely and quiet.

I suppose you can tackle all four but have fun putting everything back on if the legs fall off, I think one at a time is best. It's red (machine is orange and all pictures depict a black screen) and does not have any plug in points to accomodate the 2 heart rate cables that come off the handles. I am using it every day since it arrived, multiple times a day, I find it so much fun.
