Small, lightweight. [actual size see photos: 9. Optical quality is good, BUT keep in mind that small lenses like this don't gather much much light.

The case is about 1" thick & roughly the size of a credit card in height. Accurate to the 8x21 as advertised. The Chinese version of BaK4 prisms are made from an entirely different kind of glass, PSK3, which is much cheaper to make than BaK4; it also has a lower refractive index.

One of the factors asked to be rated for this product is the "night vision". I decided the simplest solution was to get an inexpensive pair of binoculars that would allow me to easily check the little flag. When one of the objective lenses fell off and got lost, I scrambled to replace them as quickly as I could.

👍 If these have night vision, it's not anything like what I thought it would be.

There is literally nothing I dislike about these binoculars; they are worth more than what I paid for! My mailbox is about 50 yards from my front door. I work in a warehouse ( shipping and receiving) and find it difficult to read small shipping labels on boxes that can be 30 feet in the air.

These fit the bill. No, they're not for the professional birdwatcher, but for ease of always having a pair handy & the pricing, you cannot go wrong. Even though it has a little flag that pops up when mail has been delivered, it's just far enough away that I can't quite make it out unless the sun is hitting it juuuust right.

BaK stands for BaritleichKron (German for "Barium Crown"). Very impressed with these binoculars considering how inexpensive they are.
