In today’s society there are so many representations of Greek myth as well as analogies to them in everyday discussions. I first read this book over 40 years ago in high school, and I have never found a better overview of the Greek myths. A careful reading of this book can therefore be exceptionally helpful to students as well as extremely interesting and entertaining.

It introduces you to all of the major Greek gods many of the minor gods, and most of the important heroes. Book arrived on time and in perfect condition. Good book, but mine came with the spine bent ever so slightly diagonally that it drives me insane. This is a wonderful book that appeals to high school students and to other adults.

Good content for a good price. Some general knowledge of these myths is also important to appreciate a great deal of museum art. I have not had a chance to read it yet so I’m reviewing it for the quality.

It isn’t terrible but I was a little disappointed hence the four stars. Pages don’t open perfectly; not sure the picture does it justice
