There's just no other action cameras on the market today doing 4K at full frame ratesThere are lots of mounting options available from third party manufacturers also. What i like about the hero 4 black:-4K at usable framerates (hero3 could only do 15fps)-Sweet 120fps slow motion at 1080-More wireless connectivity(some hiccups, but can work)-More slowmotion-Sharpness is satisfactory-Lowlight is decent enough-More manual controlIf you can't afford the Black edition then this one also is a good choiceOther option is Sony Fdr-x1000v Its the Best video quality money will buy in an action cam: Specs alone dictate at the quality. Bought it last week for my adventure tour and i would say its the best video camera i have ever used.

Suits every environment and have plenty of shooting options. The only downside i see is the low battery life,as my expectations were higher.

Its an all rounder action cam and If you want 4k video then this beast is perfect as an action cam,With decent recording time. Recorded my whole adventure using it and the results were amazing.
