It's a bit big' but then I remembered how small my other kettle was and that the Bosch one was actually regular sized! If you are looking for a new kettle and can stretch your budget a little bit, I would highly, high recommend this one.

This is a really good kettle with lots of plus points the only down side is the filter. Good kettle - it's quick to warm up and it has very good sound that lets you know it's ready! The media could not be loaded. When they only have one cup full in them they are not heavy so they are great for people who have trouble lifting heavy kettles.

I use it with filtered water and descale when my filter runs out - it came up lovely after the first descale. ?

If you have the scum floating on your tea it time to upgrade as I taste the difference. As you can see ours has a tiny hairline crack in the base where my husband was a bit rough with it (he has trouble gripping sometimes) and the on/off button has started to fade from the many years of use and the 70C button (my tea and coffee favourite temp) has lost some of its silver. Handy when you leave kitchen.

But as well as that you can set it to your ideal temperature depending on what you prefer or drinking at the time. Just as expected it boils water. It does have a chunkier handle but it's not awkward at all and is really comfortable and light to hold even with water inside. Variable temperature means I can drink tea straight away and not wait another 10 mins for it to cool downI like the modern looks and it's easy to clean.
