. Good for when your shopping, let’s you see what’s in your fridge All I can say is this thing is very handy to have in the kitchen. If the camera doesn’t recognise things in your fridge, you can scan the barcode to get the product information.

This product connects to the 2GHz network on your Wi-fi. If you router doesn’t automatically split the 5GHz and 2GHz connections, you can usually do it on your Wi-fi dashboard, otherwise you can speak to your provider to help you. The app also handily shows a list in date order of when your items will expire. We have a rather big fridge, and while the camera can pick up most of it, it does miss sections right at the bottom, so we’re using the second to capture the meats, fruit and veg.
Compact design, good for letting you know when food is going out of date, adds items to shopping, if you use that software. When your unit arrives, they recommend you charge it for up to 6 hours first, I did it for 2 and it was at 100%. I should mention, I’ve not been incentivised to review this product, but wanted to say the truth, as reviews nearly turned me away from buying.
Setting up with the App is as simple as the smarter Kettle and Coffee Machine, you place your phone flat on the device while your screen flashes to set up the product. Honestly you need this in your kitchen, I’ve just bought another. You’ll then be walked through how to set it up in the fridge and how to use the app, and that it.
