I suspect very few users of this phone will actually use this but, as a photographer by profession, I am using it all the time. The audio quality is first class, both received and sent. I am uploading some samples now. AI is really good at scene selection, but can easily be turned off if you do not enjoy.

It even has a RAW facility (something only found previously on high end DSLR cameras) and this enables you to access the original (large) and unprocessed camera file and apply your own sharpening, correct exposure errors, etc. . Don’t get me wrong EMUI 9. An example is the popular doorbell app from a large online retailer, it will not send notifications of motion or the ringing door unless you change some options buried deep down in the settings which tells the device to always keep the app running.

Front facing camera is good enough, although I suspect, not class leading. The speed of this new chip outperforms anything else on the market currently. Having previously had the Mate 10 Pro, I was interested to see what Huawei would do to improve on one of the best phones of 2018. The battery is a little (not so little in this case) special I can happy go throughout the day without the need to worry

Perfect shots every time. 0 is good if your new to android however, if you come from the background of the Pixel or Oneplus your sure to be disappointed with the operating system (OS). Wide angle - surprisingly useful - can capture so much more than a conventional phone cameraMacro mode - a whole lot of fun! Surprisingly compact form as well considering screen size.

The battery life is excellent - this is one of the key things for me when buying a phone and whereas I can't get 2 full days out of it, I've not managed to drain it in a single day yet. Top ranked on DXO mark and you can see why when you use it. IR Blaster - useful when your remote control is lost down the sofa somewhere! the photos were shoot by it!
