He looks to scratch this over the furniture which is exactly what I wanted. With murder mittens going at it over and over! Both my cats weigh nearly 6kgs each and when they both scratch at the same time it does not topple and barely moves an inch. The King of scratch post!

Pro:-Simple design, easy assembly-Sturdy - the base comes in 2 pieces held together by 2 fluted dowels and the base bolts to the tower post with 2 Phillips screws that are recessed into the wood so they won't scratch a wood floor-Good quality scratching material - this is a solid set up and the scratching surface is strong. I've bought other scratching posts that have really cheesy carpet like material or lame sisal rope on them and they suck. I've seen many people with this specific cat scratcher.

They now use it regularly and don’t touch the new chairs. Both of my cats are notorious for scratching furniture, to the point where we had to get rid of our sofa after just 2 years because fluff from the inside of the sofa was coming out. DPD did a fantastic job of getting it here on time for Trixie's Birthday. Not this post - very well done!

It's perfect and gets the job done. Solution for gym floor scratching - order this scratching post, put it in the middle of the basement gym and give the suspect cat a scratching target. The sisal is attached very well and will last ages.

The EVA is fairly soft and its going to get ratty looking fast if my cat has her way. This cat post was a good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I took off one star because they did have a large sticker at the bottom with training instructions for your cat and it’s a very large sticker.
