This produces a spirit that is spicier and fruitier than bourbon and Americans often refer to it as their version of an Islay Scotch. Closure:  Stopper A modern classic bourbon, Woodford Reserve first appeared in the UK in the late 1990s and has developed a loyal following among bourbon drinkers and in cocktail bars ever since. Using extensive barrel expertise in the production process the whiskey has smoother and rounder characteristics, whilst still retaining the fresh spice of the Rye. Tasting Notes:  Woodford Rye is a bold yet smooth balance of flavours, with distinct notes of pepper and tobacco. Lots of fruit and a slightly sweet, spicy finish – great in cocktails, in particular as a variation to the classic Manhattan Product Specifications:
