There were a couple typos that I found distracting and I wanted to get in there with my red pen, otherwise, I enjoyed the writing style and loved that there's a glossary of Aussie slang in the back. I loved the moral of the story.

George A. Ranson Jr.

I just wanted killer kangaroo. I loved the authors afterward. Heck I loved the forward as well! I thought 'oh cool, killer kangaroo' - expected it to be brutal mayhem that was dumb with very little substance to it.

Which I didn't mind if that's what it was. It was really interesting to read how the story came to fruition. ?

I felt like, for the main characters at least, I had a really good feel for who they were. I'm also making everyone else in my life read this book. The Roo originated from a goofy news story about a buff kangaroo causing trouble in a small Australian town.

Overall, this was one wild ride. I love creature features. The characters had more depth than I expected (especially for how many characters and how short the story is). This Canadian definitely had to refer to it a few times!

I truly enjoyed the hell out of this book. Who would have expected the whole story had a moral to it!

Well written, briskly paced, and all the carnage you’d expect from a 10 foot tall, 300 lb, kangaroo with a taste for blood! This was my first Alan Baxter read and if this is what he writes for a story that started out as a silly joke then I definitely want to read his other works!
