Persuader is book #7 of the Jack Reacher action thriller series. Errors have been mad and with Reacher’s help work off the books.
I liked the choice of settings for this book. He makes a discreet enquiry about him through his old army channels, but gets flagged by federal agents and Jack gets a visit. He has two objectives; find the missing agent and finish what started ten years ago.
No more about the plot; if you like Reacher, read the book. They’re working a case but their undercover agent has gone missing. It’s a mighty fine read.
The rugged north-east coastline with its relentless ocean and the road trips which I find are like a signature of Child’s writing. But they are never dull, the story always moves forward; usually at a great pace and this book was no exception.
Jack’s on his way to a bar when he spots a man that should have been dead ten years ago. This book is set on the East coast of America with episodes in Boston and a rugged coastal residence in Maine.
