I just fell in LOVE with this book! I was really pleased to learn that the author does not discriminate, on the contrary, the book has got a lot of advice for different diets whether you are a carnivore, veggie or a full blown vegan. I really enjoyed reading this book and am sure I'll be going back to it for reference time and time again!

My particular favourite is detailed information on all the vitamins and minerals essential for an optimal health, their functions and where to find them depending on your diet. The book is also accompanied by nice selection of beautifully photographed recipes as well as a chart of more than 300 different foods with their nutritional breakdown.

After a year of trying to reduce my animal products consumption I have recently moved onto fully plant based diet and thought this book might not be relevant. Great book. I must say I was a bit sceptical at first especially because of the title The Food Bible - The Ultimate Reference Book For Food and Your Health - that's quite a claim.
