Buy plastic instead. Good customer service in the end . Warranty process is not a over complicated issue.

At this time of year I use them in complete darkness so set them at the lowest level and let my eyesight naturally adjust to this. Purchased three for use when out on high hills erecting antenna masts. If considering the cheaper disposable AA battery versions such as 'Lil Larry', be aware that rechargeable batteries won't fit inside them.

Contacting Amazon doesn’t work either. I have accidentally knocked them to the floor from 6ft+ to the tarmac surface several times with no effect but loss of paint. Update…The manufacturer contacted me and replaced the faulty product directly after a few days it has arrived and hopefully will be a good one.
