I will admit my scalp is a little blue but that's a small price to pay for the colour I want without the damage, and it hasn't stained my pillow like other reviewers have mentioned, I think they haven't rinsed properly. I can imagine the best results are definitely achieved on pre-lightened and bleached hair but this shows that some still can work quite successfully on natural hair. I also had plenty of bleach on hand as this really stains your bath and sink.

Like with most direct dyes, you need to ensure you cover yourself and wipe drops of dye quickly to avoid staining. 😍💜 I've used different blues before, first time with Purple and this one seems to transfer less, may be as it's now been my 4th time dying my hair, but I love all of Directions dyes, they're so kind to my hair, it still remains so soft! I top up the colour every three days and wash my hair once a week 💕💕💕 Both photos are in natural light but the one on the left was on a grey day and was the same day it had been dyed.

(Dyed on pre-lightened highlighted hair. LMAO not happening. I've tried a few of these Directions semi-permanent dyes on un-bleached hair now and have had mixed results.
