Don’t treat the BRANCHES (symptoms) with drugs but instead treat the ROOTS (causes) with sensible, manageable lifestyle changes and choices says Dr. It’s not a quick fix, its a long term one.

Doctors spend most of their life learning about disease and how to cut it out or how to prescribe medication. Rangan - I think we'd be a much healthier nation if that was indeed the case. Gonna crack on with the rest of the book! Sound, sensible, sustainable simplified and motivational information.

The four pillars are explained well and in enough detail to ensure understanding is complete, without too much detail to bamboozle or bore. Feels like a much more holistic view on health, than other books I’ve read. It’s part magazine, part manual, part textbook and part coffee table book.
